We are pleased to announce this call for Presentation Abstracts for the 7th International ELT and Applied Linguistics Conference. The theme of the conference is Changing Ecology in Language Teacher Education: Research, Innovations and Applications. This theme introduces the innovative and more accountable models in the fields of language teacher education, English language teaching and Applied Linguistics. Innovation is made possible through research and the integration of technology into approaches, techniques, activities, and materials used in teaching, learning, and assessment. The applications of the different models, designs and even theories provide firsthand experiences on what works best in the situated practices of ELT. Within the domain of language teacher education, both scholars and practitioners should anticipate innovation and maximize their efforts in its application. Research-based and technology-led applications, innovative approaches, collective actions, and a creative mindset contribute to the

changing ecology of language teacher education. We know that challenges arise constantly, and we must be prepared to address them by fostering a culture of inquiry. In this regard, the theme of the conference clearly sets the call for innovative and contextually adaptable models for language teacher education. The recent surge in language teacher education keeps teachers at the center of pedagogy who could configure the landscapes of teaching and professionalism. Recognizing the broader impact of this conference theme, we proudly invite abstracts from language educators, ELT practitioners, experts, scholars, researchers, English teachers, students, applied linguists, and policymakers from home and abroad. The exchange of knowledge, pedagogies, technologies, and possibilities, along with a spirit of transformation, will help reshape the practices of language teacher education and ELT that we aspire to improve.
